Project Description:

The building is a new Hotel and Casino which will sit within the existing City of Dreams entertainment complex located in Macau, China. It is for a 160m high, 40 storey tower with 1 level of basement. The design intent for the external skin is an integrated structure and facade. The exoskeleton structural form or pattern follows the lines of the structural action. The structural form is then clad to achieve the desired architectural finish.

The project consists of an inner cylindrical exoskeleton structure. The two core cylindrical structure are connected by trusses, steel bones and other steel components, the irregular exposed steel skeleton forms the outer part of the structure with curtain wall and cladding. 

In the lower columns, high strength steel of grade S460 to reduce the weight; plate of S355G7+Q and S460G1+Q is used. It's our first time to use this type of material through out USSL's history.
